I am nowhere near a politician. Nor am I a lawyer. But I am a (young) American citizen. In English we are doing debates. My topic to debate is resolve that the death penalty should be banned. Con. I’m all for the death penalty. In fact, I think it should be legalized in all states. This world is to damn nutty crunchy for its own good. I mean, these four retarded boys in Mount Vernon, New Hampshire brutally slayed a mother, and her tried to kill her daughter. The daughter barely got out with her life. The creeps felt NO REMORSE for their actions….they were all happy and thrilled to have done this malicious act. Imagine if this was your family. Just think, no ties, just randomly chosen to die. Now, these jerks should have gotten the death penalty for there actions, (can I add that roughly 1.5 million of your money is sustaining one person for a life sentence) but because they didn’t rape anyone, commit a capital drug crime, and the woman wasn’t a police officer so they can’t. And you know, killing isn’t right. But this is punishing someone for their sins. And God did the same when he cased the plague, and famine, and a little thing called Noah’s Ark. It may be what you consider “barbaric” or “morally wrong” but it’s not. And may I just say, Katie, Marcella, Aine, we’re gonna win this debate.
